The metallized vacuum ceramic cone is a high-performance precision ceramic component, primarily made from high-purity alumina (Al₂O₃) ceramic material. Its surface undergoes molybdenum-manganese (Mo-Mn) metallization treatment followed by nickel plating, forming a bright metallic ring layer. This metallization layer not only enhances the brazing capability and bonding strength of the ceramic but also ensures excellent vacuum sealing performance and gas tightness.
The product features a white conical structure with openings at both ends (one larger and one smaller). The edges display distinct silver-gray metallized rings, facilitating brazing connections with metal components (such as stainless steel or copper alloys) to form reliable ceramic-to-metal seals. The ceramic body is smooth and delicate, offering outstanding insulation, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength, making it suitable for high-vacuum, high-voltage, high-pressure, or high-frequency environments.
Typical applications include:
- Insulation and sealing components in power electronic devices such as vacuum interrupters (vacuum arc-extinguishing chambers), vacuum switch tubes, or vacuum capacitors;
- High-vacuum feedthrough insulators, conical gas inlet tubes, or transition connectors for vacuum chambers;
- Fields such as semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, medical equipment, or high-power electron tubes.
